It was great to take part in the workshops run by L2D and AIBIO-UK and supported by the BBSRC for training bioscientists in how to use AI and machine learning. Over the course we went from Python fundamentals, to data handling, model training and implementation of a (simple) neural network.
We were very happy to have researchers from research institutions and universities across the UK join us in London to run these workshops. A big thank you to the participants for sharing their ideas and challenges with us – we plan to use your input for creating resources to support the bioscience community in the UK to effectively engage with and use AI for their work.
