22nd July 2025
Oxford Brookes University, New Headington Hill Building, NHHB 2.14
Oxford Brookes University is hosting an intimate workshop focused on the challenges of Machine Learning (ML) adoption within biomedical sciences.
Organised by AIDAS, the session will spotlight Scientific Machine Learning—including simulation and modelling techniques for uncovering complex, multi-scale biological phenomena.
With a small cohort of 15–25 researchers and practitioners, the workshop aims to:
- Identify key issues in processing biological data
- Share insights from those working directly with ML in biosciences
- Foster new collaborations and steer future research directions
Attendees will engage with brief presentations highlighting current computational challenges, followed by a collaborative roundtable discussion. Refreshments, including coffee and lunch, will be provided. Participation is welcome from anyone interested in advancing the conversation around deep learning and its applications in biological data processing.
