This event, co-organised with GirlsWhoML, a nonprofit organisation that empowers women and underrepresented groups in machine learning and AI, will bring together researchers, students, and professionals working in the Biosciences and with an interest in AI.
Day 1 covers Python fundamentals, linear and logistic regression, while Day 2 focuses on neural networks and some examples of advanced AI. Participants will also engage with research presentations on the applications of ML/AI in the Biosciences, to develop practical, hands-on experience in applying AI to Biosciences.
With a strong focus on inclusion, the event aims to inspire and empower women and underrepresented groups, aligning closely with AIBIO-UK’s mission to build a diverse and connected AI in Biosciences community.
